No, I just need somebody to set one up for us on a machine that isn't our server machine.

It should be perfectly fine to run on that machine. I still don't understand the reasoning behind not using one.

I was reading a bit about it and everything I read said that if performance is key then don't run it with other cpu and ram intensive things. Csgo is both of those.

The servers shouldn't be making tasking calls to MySQL. Not to mention even the 1v1 has many people who have played on it and the database is still less than 10MB.

There should be a bigger concern over security with remote MySQL than there is with local performance concerns.
