I know a lot of people in the clan use buy binds in Counter Strike, so I thought I would post this here. I personally recommend against using buy binds, but if you are going to use one, this guy had a pretty good system. Of course you can put these binds anywhere (I know jester likes to use his F-keys, for example), but I think he keeps his binds simple enough that it wouldn't be detrimental to gameplay.

I had some people asking about buy binds yesterday so I just thought I would bump this thread to give you some ideas of how you can set them up.

Mutiny, can you post your binds here as well? I know you have a very workable set up as well.

I don't have any special binds. Just a weird keyboard binding setup. Like "Q" is my crouch.

Me either. I have no trouble buying anything I want in a few seconds just using the buy menu.

Plus if I was to use buy binds I would probably forget what each key buys or just press the wrong one.

I did it in the order that I would usually buy or what made sense and was comfortable to me. Thats why I never used any other players binds. I would never remember which button was what. Like I have 1 for the bizon as its usually the first gun I would buy, 2 is a p250, 3 is flash, 4 is he, 5 is smoke, 6 Molotov, 7 ak/m4, 8 famas and so forth... If you use binds make yours based around what you easily remember.

That's why I don't use buy binds. I've tried it before and I just keep purchasing the wrong things. It was nice in 1.6 to have a bind to buy vest/helm, defuse, primammo, secammo, but aside from that I would keep buying the wrong guns lol.
