Thoughts?

Pathetic and disappointing. This combined with flusha's blatant cheating being ignored is driving my interest away from the CSGO esports scene.

Definitely interesting evidence, but we still don't have enough evidence to say who was involved. The only thing that will prove someone is guilty at this point would be a flow of items from CSGOL to an iBP player or if one of the players (Dazed, Skadoodle, AZK, Swag, or Steel) come forward and say they threw.

Steel admitted it, didn't he?

I heard that was an obvious joke, but didn't seem obvious to me. If its true, I am done watching pros until they do something.

I know valve isn't involved in this cs go betting scene. But this stupid cs go lounge is ran by fucking teens and we are letting this shit tear apart the community.

I completely agree. I know that it would vastly reduce the viewership of matches, but I really think Valve should shut down these betting sites. The cons vastly out-way the pros of these betting sites in my mind.

How could valve do that?

I'm not sure what Valve has the technical ability to do. But they could potentially do something that would stop the CSGO Lounge bots from being able to complete trades which would mean that people wouldn't be able to make bets. They may not be able to do anything about the cash money betting sites, but those ones have a much smaller following.

Yeah I think I read somewhere that they are actually coding their anti-scamming measures to allow bots to continue their work. They could easily do something that would stop bots from being able to trade.

Well it looks like you only have one reason to hate CS:GO now Jero, Clutch Cats (aka IBP) are no longer going to MLG aspen. Speculation points to the betting scandal and EG no longer picking up the team. We'll know more in a couple days, but here's some reddit information for now: http://www.reddit.com/r/GlobalOffensive ... cats_have/

My take: I hope that EG will not pick them up because of throwing a match. This will set a huge precedent for future throwers to think about.
