[youtube]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qN5JZ25dxcA[/youtube] Very interesting video. The part that really stuck out to me is how much pros tell each other. So many times I've played with people in the clan and I'll die and the response will be "Why did you do X, you should have known Y", but watching these pros play and it's like, "WTF, even pros don't know this unless they communicate". It just really underscored the need for good communication instead of trying to get "good enough" to read each others' minds. I think everybody who is interested in matchmaking or cevo or whatever should watch this video, because it's basically a clinic on how to communicate effectively, and when we matchmake it's our communication most often that breaks down and loses us matches. |
