That's cool! I feel mixed about end of round. It will make it harder to money fuck a saving terrorist. I wonder what prompted the change? I wonder if it was spectator or for balance

... I hate that they banned jumpthrow scripts. This isn't going to go well in the community...

End of round being 3 seconds is probably the most bullshit thing ever to be implemented IMO.

Why do you feel that way about end of round?

I'm surprised about the jump throw thing, but I feel neutral about it. A simple bind being banned seems a little absurd, but I don't use jump throws

Can't get end of round bomb plants, can't go hunting for people as long, can't go looking around for left over weapons on the ground, it just seems so encumbering to me. Shouldn't that winners of a round be given the liberty to do these things?

I remember the flak about crouch-hopping being banned back in 1.6 and cz. It's the same flak that jump throw binds are getting. People are getting mad because they aren't consistent enough to throw these nades. It raises the skill ceiling IMO. Only those who actually practice can throw these amazing smokes.

It still requires knowledge and practice to land jumpthrow smokes. It isn't perfect in and of itself.

Yes, I agree. I would really like to know the reason for this change. If it's just to make the game faster for spectators, then fuck ESL.

I don't like the end timer but I love jump binds being banned. I haver thought all along that is border line shady. I feel like travis does about it. I wanna know why they changed end of round though. Oh yeah valve timers....win!

I really don't like the shortened end of round timers. If you win a round on an eco, you have no time to grab a better gun.

I played an ESEA pug. ESEA made the same changes that ESL made, including end round time and jump throw binds being banned.

End round: literally the worst idea ever other than the R8. It is almost impossible to grab a weapon. You have to tell your teammates prior to defusing to grab some weapons. If you are on an eco and you need to try and find some weapons, good luck. You need to be Speedy Gonzales in order to grab the weapons.

Jump bind: there are easy ways to jump throw without the bind anyway, so meh.
