I've almost finished QUBE, so I'll give my review of it: Pros Very interesting puzzles Difficult (not self-evident like Portal) Frequently on sale Cons Short "Twitch"-type puzzles, where you have to quickly click things Unresponsive controls (hard to do the twitch type puzzles because nothing fucking responds when I fucking click it) Conclusion If you get it on sale and you like puzzle games, buy it, because it's really challenging. But it is DEFINITELY not worth the $15 it sells for normally, and you have to be able to deal with the fact that sometimes you know exactly how to solve the puzzle but the game won't let you solve it because of its terrible controls. |
