Runner up albums that really should be on this list.
Kris Kross - Totally Krossed Out

Oasis - (What's the Story) Morning Glory?

Ok, I have finally completed my list. I could have probably gone to 30 albums. It was hard narrowing it down but I think this would be my favorite 20 albums of all time. I left rock off almost entirely because I would have to do my own top 20 rock album list probably. I just enjoy this music more because it reminds me of whole sections of my life.

Post subject:  Re: Your top 20 favorite albums of all time

I did my best to try and order this from most to least favorite. It turned into ordering this by what % of songs on the album I consider to be gold, so just bear that in mind.

Time Capsules II - Oberhofer
Oberhofer, oh my god. One of my by far favorite bands and by far my favorite album, Time Capsules II, Oberhofer is always there incase I want music to listen and jam out to. I can always rely on this album to get me excited or happy.

Songs to note:
Yr Face
oOoO
(I would literally list all of them but these are my two favorites)

Submersible - Passafire
Passafire, my favorite mix of reggae/rock. I have these people added to my "Go-To" Spotify playlist, almost every album of theirs, because, to me, all of their songs are really nice.

Songs to note:
Submersible
Ghost Man

Torches - Foster The People
Who can live without this famous album? While Foster The People took another route with their newer album, no one will forget the iconic first album, especially considering just how many songs on that album was pure gold.

Songs to note:
Don't Stop (Color on the Walls)
Pumped Up Kicks

Setting The Paces - Boat
By far my favorite band. I have been listening to Boat for upwards of 5 years and have enjoyed every minute of it. Boat is still, by far, not popular, but that doesn't mean anything to me. I truly do enjoy listening to Boat and seeing them continue after nearly 10 years, 7 albums, and little-to-no following.

Songs to note:
Lately (I've Been On My Back)
Tough Talking The Tulips

Melophobia - Cage The Elephant
Cage The Elephant has been one of my favorite alternative bands of all time. They have a solid discography with many notable and popular songs, but this album specifically is one of my favorites.

Songs to note:
Cigarette Daydreams (Just fyi, I can safely say this is the song that describes the emotions I feel when looking back at high school and the friends I had back there.)
Take It or Leave It

6 Feet Beneath The Moon - King Krule ( Zoo Kid )
King Krule is weird at first, I cannot deny that. Showing King Krule to people is initially awkward because of his vocal style being so incredibly different. Despite that, the cool vibe of most all of his songs grows tremendously on oneself.

Songs to note:
Baby Blue
Out Getting Ribs

Sharpen Your Teeth - Ugly Casanova
Some of you may know of Ugly Casanova, but incase you don't. They have a similar vibe like Modest Mouse, and they honestly don't sound any different.

Songs to note:
Barnacles
Things I Don't Remember

Whatever People Say I Am, That's What I'm Not - Arctic Monkeys
While Arctic Monkeys turned into a British boy band with an obscene middle-school girl following, I cannot forget their roots. I still like Arctic Monkeys, but their following has changed tremendously. This is one of the albums of theirs that I can listen to time and time again without any of the songs getting old.

Songs to note:
A Certain Romance
Riot Van

Alvvays - Alvvays
Alvvays is again not that popular, but I have truly enjoyed listening to Alvvays. All of their songs has a relatively chill vibe that I totally fond over.

Songs to note:
Adult Diversion
Archie, Marry Me

Songs For The Deaf - Queens of The Stone Age
Queens of The Stone Age is my go-to for listening to head-banging energy-lifting music. Their album, Songs For The Deaf, hits gold on almost every one of their songs.

Songs to note:
Go With The Flow
No One Knows

Good News for People Who Love Bad News - Modest Mouse
Some people never grow to like the style of Modest Mouse, as there is honestly not many other bands like them. Modest Mouse takes a special spot because it opened my eyes to a "less popular" style of music.

Songs to note:
Float On
The World At Large

These Four Walls - We Were Promised Jetpacks
I have seen We Were Promised Jetpacks go from a few hundred followers on Spotify to their now 130,000. Their album, These Four Walls, was found when listening to an Arctic Monkeys radio station long ago.

Songs to note:
Quiet Little Voices
It's Thunger and It's Lightning

Evil Friends - Portugal. The Man
Portugal. The Man was introduced to me by a bandmate that is now drummer for Bosco. Portugal. I often describe Portugal. The Man as a mix between Foster the People and Modest Mouse.

Songs to note:
Creep In A T-Shirt
Purple Yellow Red and Blue

Full Frontal - Analog Rebellion
Analog Rebellion is what I like to call "dirty indie". Essentially, the music isn't perfect and that is obvious, but when performed one can see that there is emotion behind the imperfect music and that they are just trying to play music for fun.

Songs to note:
Nothing Is Wrong
Hagia Sophia

Minecraft Volume Alpha - C418
I have added this because it is a perfect album to listen to for ambiance while studying for exams. Just a beautiful album. I also added it for nostalgia sake :P

Songs to note:
Sweden
Subwoofer Lullaby

Man On The Moon: The End of Day - Kid Cudi
As some of you know, Kid Cudi is one of the only hip-hop artists I can listen to. I don't really like hip hop at all, but the way it is done and his style is, to me, unique.

Songs to note:
Day 'N 'Nite
Sountrack 2 My Life

The Year of Hibernation - Youth Lagoon
Youth Lagoon is unique in their vocal style. Truly impressive is how effective and poignant they can be.

Songs to note:
17
Montana

Californication - Red Hot Chili Peppers
Of course this has to be here. I don't even think I am going to mention songs because its just so... everyone knows RHCP.

Jeroh please ignore this one
Darwin Deez - Darwin Deez
Darwin Deez, if you have ever seen him, is a great definition of "hipster". Despite that, his style in his first album is unique.

Songs to note:
Bad Day
Constellations

The Bends - Radiohead
Radiohead is one of my go-to artists and their album, The Bends, is one of their most iconic.

Songs to note:
Fake Plastic Trees
My Iron Lung

So yea, long awaited maybe? Even though most all of this may be ignored, I just wanted to share.

Alvvays. Jesus fuck, I have not heard that name in awhile. I'll have to listen again. You know they're good because I'm actually posting :/ The rest of your list is pretty good too.

So far I've really enjoyed this list. The first King Krule song is the only one I haven't liked (I'm at "Things I Don't Remember" right now)

I tried to listen to baby blue, 30 seconds in I had to turn it off. I literally can't stand the way the guy pronounced words.
