If one wants a mechanical keyboard and doesn't care for all of the bells and whistles of other key boards, this is the one. The only difference between this and a normal backlit full sized keyboard is the switch. I've had this for a year and I can't notice any degradation in any of the switches, despite using it for hours on end, every day. Iirc there was a few reddit posts comparing kailh blues to MX blues and how the difference was almost unnoticeable.

Straight forward mechanical keyboard with the only 'bells and whistles' being the switch.
