I've heard a lot of people getting problems, but I haven't had any whatsoever. I just got lucky I guess.

The only thing I don't like about the new Steam is that it's confusing me on how to get to my friends' list and my game library. Other than that, I have absolutely no care in which Steam is implemented lol.

I don't like how you have to scroll to the top of your friends list to change your status to offline. Used to be you could do it from the top of the window, so it doesn't matter where you are scrolled in your window.

Also, I agree wtih you Azn. I hate how when you shift+tab your friends list doesn't automatically come up. It lags hard when I push the "all friends" button to try to show the friends list.

I have noticed if I am in game and bring up steam, and if I try to disconnect and reconnect so I can invite people to the game I am playing....my steam overlay just crashes every time. If I minimize the game and do it, no problems at all. still like it better.

Yeah, it lags really hard for me if I do that. I have to give it a good minute before it will allow me to.

From the sound of things, this new Steam is starting to remind me of Windows Vista and the complaints that came with it
