Absurd Minds

As some of you heard, our server company in Philadelphia got bought out and is moving their data center to Atlanta. Atlanta is a terrible location for game servers because it's very far away from most of the country and also usually results in weird routing, so we've decided to move our servers back to a chicago location. I've just purchased our new machine and I'm waiting for them to set it up. This server has a slightly better processor and double the RAM of our old machine, and a Chicago location will be more advantageous for US gaming. And it's 20 dollars cheaper!

After the server is set up, Jero has graciously volunteered to do the basic setup, and then I will begin reinstalling all of our servers to the machine. As I install the servers, I will post here with new IPs as well as change the names of the old servers to reflect the IP redirect. If they set up the machine quickly enough, I hope to have this completed before we leave on vacation, but it can supposedly take up to 48 hours to get the order processed.

horray, we finally got a cheaper chicago machine and its BETTER!!!!! hopefully this will bring some more people in that are west coast too since its closer.
