A month ago I read on the Valve developer pages about this. So I decided to make an online Steam ID Finder that can estimate the age of a Steam ID to within a couple days. I play a lot of CS:GO and I hate it when people have private profiles so you can't see when they bought their account. Anyway, vacbans.com works by collecting the account creation dates of public Steam IDs and using those to estimate the age of private ones. It has some other features too, like checking for ESEA accounts and VAC bans. You should check it out.
