First video game? Shit... I remember playing Sonic on Sega Genesis... That must have been the first? I'm too old to remember that.

EDIT: I also remember playing some super nintendo games as a child. I'm not sure which system I had first.

What was YOUR first video game then? My first PC video game would have been neopets (if you consider that a game). If not, it would be the captain crunch game that came in the boxes many moons ago. Or was it "Where in the World is Carmen Sandiago?"? Fuck, I'm bad at this question.

My first real video game was the mmorpg Planeshift. I joined my first ever clan then, a grip of people who were pretending to be cats xD it was one of the races, I swear.

Before Planeshift I had only played kid/girl games. Freddy the fish, Putt Putt, Barbie secret agent, the saddle club, and a shitton of other horse games.

I wasn't allowed to play console games either, because I didn't have a television, let alone a console to hook up to it.

Damn you young kids! Video games weren't invented yet when I was a youth.

Actually the first I played were a few games from my Dad's Commodore 64 computer: LodeRunner, Spy vs Spy, Pitfall and Impossible Mission.

My first video game was called fighting the Viet Kong. #SupportOurTroops.

I feel so young Everyone is talking about classic Id Software games and here I am with Pokemon and Sonic Adventure 2. The generation gap is real. I guess we only ever get older and older as days go buy. I started with a Compaq Presario that ran Windows 98 from 1998 to 2004. I would surf the web and play Mavis Beacon Teaches Typing and RuneScape. My family upgraded to a Dell that ran Windows XP in 2004. I only got my own computer in 2012.

my first computer ran dos. then I eventually got windows 3.1 and I thought I was hot shit. windows 95 came out and I got my own computer. 32 mb hard drive.
