When will that 1 extra bullet matter? I can tell you that if you are a half-decent shot it won't matter. The CZ/5-7 and M4A1/A4 Arguments make sense since there are trade-offs. Never more could it be plainly obvious to use one gun over the other. The p2k is complete garbage now. Valve claimed they would make the AK/M4/AWP cycle stop by balancing the guns and yet there is now a 99.99999% benefit to use the usp over the p2k. There is also no patch in sight (AFAIK). P2k users should be livid about this.

What is your guys thoughts? (I know we briefly talked about this in mumble)

I have killed, CO UNLESS TIMES, enemies with my last bullet. Especially in a pistol, each bullet is very important. Might as well drop 1 bullet off all pistols if it makes no difference. Hell, take a bullet out the awp since pros don't miss either -.-

My point was that the trade off of one less bullet for a silencer is fucking ridiculous. And if you miss your first 12 shots you deserve to get fragged. I never said pros don't miss so please don't put words in my mouth. Let's keep the discussion civil. Taking 1 bullet off every gun in the game wouldn't change shit for 99.9999% of situations (it would be pointless as fuck, however). It's like the sawed off vs nova. Both kill in one hit at a close distance but the sawed off has slightly more penetration. However, the sawed off has garbage range. So there is no practical use for it. There is a difference between technical usage (niche guns like M249, mp9, p2k) and guns with practical use (negev, ump, usp) then there are the guns that are actually used in real competitve situations (ak, m4, awp, cz, usp, glock)

For what it's worth, I don't think Travis's post was uncivil.

I'm not interested in discussing the p2k because it's an accidental nerf, but in interested in hearing you comment on your reasons for choosing the CZ over the p250 before the CZ nerf and the loadout position switch. I remember you were a big CZ fan, but the CZ was identical to the p250 in every way except the p250 has more bullets and you had to click.

I think he's calling it a niche gun because it is used almost exclusivity only on pistol rounds. On buy rounds, you usually don't use your pistol or, if you think you will use your pistol (eg if you have an awp), you will actually buy a secondary gun; or it is an eco round and you'll buy a 5-7 to get that armor penetration.

I know personally, outside of pistol rounds I might use a pistol once or twice in a match. If you're a primary awper you'll probably use one more, but my play style (and choice of m4a4) usually leaves me with plenty of rifle bullets for whatever happens.

I actually just switched over to m4a4 again. Flusha made a good point that after the m4a1-s change to $3100, it doesn't make sense to pay that much for 20/40 bullets. Better to get the 30/60.

P250s pros

1 extra bullet per mag
More mags

CZs pros
Insane firerate (higher than an m4)
Damage per second is higher as a result of it being automatic
Have a mini ak when awping

The only plusside was the extra bullets and mags (which is useless on an eco since you are going to pick u your opponents rifle anyway)

Thats why the cz was so great. It was a mini rifle that was super cheap that lead you to get a bigger rifle to dominate with.
Even if you clicked as fast as humanely possible, the dps was still higher on the cz.

If I'm not mistaken, the CZ had the same rate of fire as the p250 even it came out. The stats were *identical*

M4a4 and m4a1 are perfectly balanced now

Silent with No tracers
More accurate
Less falloff damage

M4a4
More bullets per mag
More mags
Smaller model (you gunbarrel sticks out alot on the m4a1)

This decision is all personal preference.

Why did everyone bitch about the cz being op if the stats were identical to the p250? If what you are saying is true, there would have been an equal number of players using the p250 and the cz. That wasnt the case tho. Can you please explain this better?

You want me to explain the behavior of people I don't know? I'm not sure what you want me to explain better. But the release notes were pretty clear - the stats were identical. And if my memory serves, it hasn't been changed until the recent nerf.

Okay you are right when it comes to the fire rate. I can't dispute facts. But the cz was op because it was fully automatic. But my point is tgere was arguments to both sides with cz/p250. There is (as of now) no contest between p2k and the usp. The silencer is well worth it for -1 bullet and -1 magazine.

The only "pros" you listed were false. I don't see the "other side" of the argument with that, so I'm still baffled. Your usage was basically just personal preference, so I'm struggling to see why personal preference plays no part in the p2k vs usp argument.

Im dropping the cz argunent because that has no bearing anymore. The nerfed p2k sucks compared to the usp. The only reason to use the p2k is it had a bunch of extra mags. Now it only has 1 extra bullet per mag and only 1 extra mag. I think 9/10 people at the professional level would choose the usp over the nerfed p2k.
