IMO, "lit" should only be used when one shot will kill a person. Eg, you did 89 damage, or even 76 or whatever.

"Hurt" should be used for anything else.

I have always related "lit" to being 50+ damage against an individual. So if that user gets an assist, that user lit the opponent.

You get an assist doing 41 or more damage.

Hurt/Damaged is 40+

I say "Hit" which I guess I should make a habit of saying tagged, or hurt more often. Sounds too close to Lit, and is very misleading.

Lit is 60 for me.

Under 60 is "Wow, what the fuck. I shot him multiple times. He's hit for 26 in banana, go kill him please."

Why not just say "Hit for 60" or whatever? Saying hurt or lit doesn't help much.

Because it's way quicker and still gives the same information. There is no practical difference between 60 damage and 65 damage, for example - you still know you need a few shots to kill them. There is a practical difference between "lit" and "hurt", though, because IMO lit should be reserved for somebody who can be killed with a single shot or a nade.

i usually just say hit then the amount of damage. so "hit 60" etc

I say lit if they have 1 hit of health left. It depends on my teammates gun. A bizon? 30hp is lit. A deagle? 40hp is lit. A glock? 15-20 hp is lit. An awp? EVERYBODY IS LIT! If I tell an awper that somebody is lit, that means pistol him.

Honey Badgers have very tough skin. The skin is very thick and rubbery, which is almost impervious to arrow and spears. Even a blow from machete can't scratch the skin. The skin protects them from bites.

I always considered red health bars to be lit - so I guess 80 damage? Essentially, I try to convey that one shot from any weapon should kill them.
