So i was just thinking we should start having 1v1 tournaments like weekly or something on a certain day every week, and make it like a gladiator games kindof thing, people can watch or sign up to play or maybe even bet skins and stuff (to make things interesting) and for the winner maybe like 20 bucks or a skin, i think a skin would be nice. CUZ THAT GUY YAMMY IS A GOD AND COULD USE 20 BUCKS A WEEK(or a better inventory pls)..... anyways just a thought

Because we don't have proper security procedures/anti-cheat for something to be monetary like that?

We're also not rich enough. Me and serial rarely get enough donations to cover just the server cost. We never make 80 extra dollars a month.

If it's something you're interested in and you can find a sponsor we can use admin as an anti cheat. If professional cs has taught us anything, software anti cheat is useless anyway.

Or just a weekly competition without the prizes. Or $2 entry for first 32 people, then top 3 people get X accordingly, based on who is determined to be a legit player or not.

well if we are gonna go that route, we might aswell make it anyone who wants to play not just the first 32 needs to drop like 2 bucks, and im sure by the end of the day more than 32 ppl would be interested and its just $2 so i feel as if it would attract more people

And as of the cheating, its really not hard to tell if someone is walling or not a quick whisper to the admin and he'd be gone.

Well we would just have two admins in spectate, one to watch each player. It's a lot harder to tell in a 1v1, though. There's less happening, so there's less opportunity for anything to be suspicious. It took us months to catch MeowMeowScopes, and the only reason we caught him was because we watched him play something other than 1v1. (And just to illustrate my earlier point, he is the top player in cevo and hasn't been vac banned.)

MEOWMEOWSCOPES was hacking?!?!?! i almost made a team with him wow, but i think if both players are being watched during the whole thing you'd be able to tell, and if someone got away with it and made it to first well thats fine i guess it'll only attract more people to play in my opinion and anything extra from it can go to the server.

I would have talked directly to Spangler regarding meowmeowscopes because there was a twitch pov and a user of ours had a convo with him and it was evidence enough for him to defriend and block all of us, so yea.

But going back to the point of this post, I'd sponsor the first one that way people dont pay and they all see the top 3 ppl get a prize or something, then if people liked it we can have people pay $2 to play. Otherwise it may not go well.

Well its pretty simple, we can use the Group Knockout format, like ESL and all the majors, depending on how many people have

So if we have 16 people playing we can have 4 groups with 4 ppl in each one and 4 people fight in there group to try and not be last, last person gets dropped and it moves on to another group for example.....

every group stage for all teams can have a certain map

Like all 4 groups play 1 map for stage 1 then stage 2 we change and on and on

and as for which maps people wanna play, all the players vote for each map on each stage.
