Yes folks, Microsoft has released their 1st service pack for Windows 7. Be sure to download it because it addresses most (if not all) of the problems in Windows 7.

yeah this just came out. by the way it takes for fucking ever to install. God forbid you have to download this thing. Fortunately at work we downloaded it and placed it onto a dvd-rw so that we can just install to a new computer from disc. Well I did that today on a brand new opened Acer. It took 3 and a half hours to install. ARE YOU SERIOUS!!! Microsoft suck my balls.

It didn't take that long for my desktop to install SP1 fully (I'd say I was done in around 20-30 minutes.) It did take my laptop about an hour for it to fully install it though. But yeah, this service pack is pretty big so be sure you have a lot of free time before you do this.

Mine was done in about 10-15. I don't understand why everybody else's is taking so long...

well of course we had to download it at work and then install it, but I was installing from a disc to that Acer and it took that long. I don't understand how its taking so long at work but others are having no problems. It is troubling.
