I don't get the point of that video. He just put 12 delta fans together just to say he could? Or does a computer go on top of that air intake cover?

Delta fans are known to be extremely fast but also VEEEERY loud (which isn't surprising considering that they're made for cooling servers.) I actually ordered a low-end 120mm fan made for servers to use on my Hyper 212 and even that fan was loud (loudest thing in my system back then.) So if you're thinking of putting a server-grade fan in your system, I hope you have a high tolerance to loud noise and some noise dampening material in your case. If you want good, quiet fans then you should look into the Noctua brand. They are very ugly colored fans but are regarded as some of the best fans for noise/performance.
